1"  Spacer for TANDEM Slides (compatable with other slides as well)

These 1"  Spacers are designed to simplify the installation of TANDEM undermount slides in face frame cabinetry. These spacers provide the additional clearance needed to position the slides beyond the face frame, creating a flat mounting surface and ensuring proper drawer operation.

• Interior rollout drawers behind doors

•  Installations requiring clearance for concealed hinges
• Cabinet openings where slides cannot mount directly to the cabinet side

Installation

The spacer is mounted directly to the cabinet side using screws appropriate for the cabinet construction. Once installed, the TANDEM slide attaches to the spacer rather than the cabinet wall, positioning the slide outward to clear the face frame and other obstructions.

For best performance, install spacers level and parallel on both sides of the cabinet.

Sizing Considerations

When using face frame spacers, the drawer width must be calculated based on the distance between the installed slides, not the overall cabinet opening width. Be sure to account for spacer thickness when determining drawer dimensions.
