Dividers, Grooves, and Inserts
  • Equally spaced diviers:
    1/2" thick stock, let in to a 1/4" deep groove, set at 1/8" down from top edge of drawer, Removeable. (Lateral = side to side, Axial = front to back)
    • L#) Number of lateral dividers (not spaces)
    • A#) Number of axial dividers
    • L#A#) Number of lateral dividers and number of axial dividers
  • Multiple vertical grooves:
    For moveable 1/4" dividers - (Can be 1", 2", or 3" on center, please specify)
    • MG1S) Multiple grooves 1" on center on 2 sides
    • MG1F) Multiple grooves 1" on center on fronts and backs
  • Horizontal divider grooves for plastic clips:
    Standard grooves are 1/8" wide by 3/16" deep located 1 3/4" up from inside of bottom. We can supply the plastic clips or you can supply your own. Please mail a sample of your divider clip for us to verify a proper fit.
    • HG2S) Grooves for clips on 2 sides
    • HG2F) Grooves for clips on fronts and backs
    • HG4S) Grooves for clips on all four sides
Drawer inserts are now available in wood, acrylic, and stainless steel! Drawer inserts CT1, CT2, & CT3 are made of Solid Alder and Melamine bottoms.

Clear acrylic inserts are available in a variety of stock sizes and can also be made to your custom specifications. Many styles to choose from including: flatware, utensils, bread boxes, vanities, spice racks, spice inserts, jewelry inserts, slotted dividers, sink trays, and stationary inserts for desk drawers. Made from 1/4" thick clear acrylic, solvent welded together with stain polished edges on all sides.

Attention to detail is critical when making drawers.
Western Dovetail drawers are constructed using classic English half-blind dovetail joinery made on a multi-spindle, dovetail machine. The drawers are precisely dimensioned according to the requirements of the cabinets and hardware for each job. Each drawer is then hand crafted with the utmost care and checked for quality at each stage of production. Close attention is given to grain selection and color matching when panels are edge glued and boxes are assembled.


Drawer Tip
If the drawer is to be used as a "Pull-Out" with an exposed front, it should be noted accordingly and a PREMIUM front will be used.
