Custom Options
  • Wood Species - Choose form our many stock species and a variety of optional materials. All drawers are available in 1/2" and 5/8" thickness.
  • Drawer Bottoms - Maple bottoms are available in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" thicknesses. All other species and melamine are available in 1/4" and 1/2".
  • Top Edge Detail - View the variety of custom top edge details we have to offer.
  • Under-mount Hardware - We notch, drill, supply, and install under-mount hardware. We have new easy-to-use specifications to figure your drawer sizes for Blum Tandem and Hettich Quadro.
  • Angles, Curves, & Corners - The latest innovation from Western Dovetail is the addition of angled dovetails. Drawers can now be dovetailed at almost any angle and on curved fronts.
  • Pull-out Drawers - Check out tour many options for pull-outs, including: scooped fronts, tapered sides, and more great solutions for pull-outs.

Custom Options are a Western Dovetail specialty
This company offers many variations on the standard drawer box. It has always been the goal to provide customers with exactly what they want. File drawers can be made in any configuration and the rails can be cut in and provided with the order. Custom pullouts can be ordered in a variety of designs with scoops, lips and tapered side profiles. Drawers can even be made with curved fronts dovetailed at any angle.



Attention to detail is critical when making drawers.
Western Dovetail drawers are constructed using classic English half-blind dovetail joinery made on a multi-spindle, dovetail machine. The drawers are precisely dimensioned according to the requirements of the cabinets and hardware for each job. Each drawer is then hand crafted with the utmost care and checked for quality at each stage of production. Close attention is given to grain selection and color matching when panels are edge glued and boxes are assembled.


Drawer Tip
If the drawer is to be used as a "Pull-Out" with an exposed front, it should be noted accordingly and a PREMIUM front will be used.
